Promoters/Bands

Hire the room and run your own gig or club night, as a promoter or a band. We'll help you with it.

How it works

Please read before applying

  • You pay us to hire the room. A gig night is generally £120 until 11pm, or £150 through to 2am on Fridays and Saturdays. Both include a sound engineer and someone on the door.
  • You keep your ticket money. There's no fee or guarantee for playing: you earn from your own ticket sales. PRS and the card fee come off each sale, and we take nothing for ourselves.
  • Apply once with the form below. Bands don't need a promoter. If it's your first time, we'll help with your date, event page, tickets and promotion.
  • Pencil in a date. Once you're approved, log in and pick a free date. Gig nights are usually Friday, Saturday and Sunday. To start with, you can have one event pencilled in or on sale at a time.
  • Confirm it. We'll accept, decline or suggest a change. Once it's agreed, pay the booking fee by card and the date is yours. If others have pencilled the same date, the first to confirm gets it.
  • Put it on sale. Build your event page and tickets in your account, and set up Stripe through the site. Tickets can go on sale up to 12 weeks before.
  • Getting paid. Online ticket money goes into your own Stripe account and is paid out to your bank the day after the gig. Until then, buyers can be refunded in full if it's cancelled. Door sales are card only, on our reader, and we pay you the door money after the gig, less PRS and the card fee.
  • We don't cancel gigs for low advance sales. We use the numbers to staff the night and give it a promotion push.
  • After 11pm. If you don't book through to 2am, we may stay open with our own DJ.
  • After the gig, add your setlists for PRS and see your sales and the night's figures.
